Application of RFID in intelligent warehousing

   Warehousing is a very important link in the logistics system, from production to sales in the whole supply chain warehousing plays a link between the preceding and the following.  For the whole logistics system, intelligent warehouse logistics is very important.  The realization of automation and process system has greatly improved the efficiency of the whole logistics system.  

◆ Storage management

   When the goods arrive at the warehouse, the warehouse personnel begin to prepare to receive the goods and prepare free space for the goods.  The warehouse manager then places the initialized RFID tags on the incoming goods.  When the cargo driver passes through the warehouse gate, the fixed reader on the access control will read the cargo label information and send the cargo location information to the loading terminal.  When the loader arrives at the designated cargo space, the stationary reader on the loader reads the cargo space label information, places the cargo on the fixed cargo space, and updates the cargo inventory information.  In the process of RFID management goods warehousing, the fixed reader on the loading truck identifies the RFID tags of the goods, and finds the information of the corresponding items in the database and automatically inputs it into the RFID inventory management system.  Also according to the inventory information, optimize the selection of goods, give a reasonable choice of goods.  In the traditional warehouse management of "handling personnel, goods, records" these links can be automated management, greatly improve the accuracy and greatly reduce the cost of personnel.  

◆ Stock control

   The system is regularly used for inventory inspection and management. The goods in the fixed area are scanned by card readers. The goods can also be transmitted to the background database through wireless network and compared with the information in the database.  RFID information can also be scanned automatically as goods are moved and automatically transmitted to the background - planning to update inventory information.  The use of RFID technology for inventory control, automatic recording of inventory data, reduce a lot of labor and equipment, accurate real-time input of inventory information, reduce the average inventory, improve inventory management ability.  

◆ Network and communication technology

   At present, in the field of modern logistics, it is developing to network and intelligence.  The integration of production systems with modern warehousing and distribution centers is now a major part of work, and with the evolution of work concepts and the development of related manufacturing enterprises, the value of warehouse systems is increasingly being considered throughout the production and management chain.  When constructing a content system network, the related company usually constructs a local area network (LAN) inside the company through the storage system, thus creating an independent network system to facilitate the actual production management.  As a logistics enterprise, facing the huge logistics network, it needs to use the enterprise object network and LOCAL area network to manage the stored information of each network point, realize the connection and communication between them, and carry on the information transmission on this basis.  Make reasonable use of the advantages and functions of the global Internet to realize the information transmission between logistics warehouses, material distribution points and logistics centers.  At present, in addition to LAN technology, the warehousing industry is increasingly using Internet of Things technology.  

   In general, the application of iot technology in China warehouse logistics industry is still weak in the closed and independent state, which can generally be connected to the logistics industry from a warehouse.  However, with the increase of logistics parks, logistics enterprises are increasingly connected, which makes the establishment of the Internet of Things platform, each enterprise can complete the query of materials sent through the platform, and input the first-hand information about materials.  The logistics and warehousing industry covering the entire network will promote the innovation of traditional enterprise models and build a new intelligent logistics system.
