1、Project brief 

    In the early stage of the project, in order to prevent the boom frame and forearm beam from rotating along with the rotary mechanism of the large crane during the operation of the portal crane, there is the risk of collision between the forearm beam and the fixed 500T mast boom.  In order to prevent the risk of collision, the forearm beam is protected in the form of protection area by the fan-shaped 2D scanner fixed on both sides of the forearm beam.  The sensor adopts special protective cover, with dustproof, waterproof, shading, anti-earthquake, anti-fall and other safety protection functions, can be long-term reliable operation in complex outdoor working environment.  

2、Project alternatives

    The control mode is switch input/output control. In the editable fan surface, two rectangular areas are set up (set by software). The yellow area is the alarm deceleration area.  The red area is the emergency stop zone. When the object is sensed to enter this area, the rotating mechanism of the door machine will stop rotating immediately.  (See schematic diagram for collision avoidance area)
